My name is Brittney Combest, and I am honored to serve as your 2026-2027 SNPhA National President. This year’s theme "Passion Creates Purpose" is inspired by you, our SNPhA members.
Every SNPhA member brings a unique passion—whether it is serving underserved communities, advancing health equity, advocating for patients, developing future leaders, or transforming the profession of pharmacy. This year is about discovering that passion, embracing it, and turning it into purposeful action that creates meaningful and lasting impact.

Throughout the 2026–2027 year, SNPhA members will be challenged to look beyond simply being involved and ask themselves: What drives me? Who am I serving? What impact do I want to leave behind? When we understand the purpose behind our passion, our service becomes more intentional, our leadership becomes more meaningful, and our ability to create change becomes even greater.
Through Passion Creates Purpose, we will empower members to recognize that leadership does not look the same for everyone. Each member has unique strengths, experiences, talents, and ideas that can contribute to the advancement of SNPhA and the profession of pharmacy. By bringing those individual passions together, we can create a collective purpose that strengthens our organization and expands our impact.
This year, we will focus on developing passionate, purposeful, and impactful leaders who are prepared to advocate for their communities, address health disparities, pursue excellence within the profession, and create opportunities for those who come after them. We will continue strengthening our chapters, expanding community outreach, fostering professional development, and creating spaces where every member feels empowered to lead and serve.
Most importantly, Passion Creates Purpose reminds us that our titles do not define our impact—our actions do. Purpose is found when we take what we care about and use it to make a difference in the lives of others. Whether through providing health screenings, advocating for health equity, mentoring another student pharmacist, pursuing professional excellence, or simply choosing to serve where there is a need, every act of passion has the potential to create purpose.

Together, we will lead with passion, serve with intention, and create impact with purpose—because when our passions come together, there is no limit to the difference we can make.
SNPhA is an educational service association of pharmacy students who are concerned about the profession of pharmacy, healthcare issues, and the poor minority representation in these areas. The purpose of SNPhA is to plan, organize, coordinate, and execute programs geared toward the improvement of the health, educational, and social environment of minority communities.
